Week 3 EOC - My Demographics
Millennials market makes up almost thirty percent of the adult
population in the United States. This group is the most educated, diverse,
and technology-proficient generation ever. Most of their media consumption is
online, including reading news and watching television shows. Millennials have
formidable purchasing power, but they distrust advertising and are more likely
to listen to their peers regarding product decisions. This group also
considers social issues such as sustainability, human rights, and fair trade
before making a purchase. Brands like TOMS Shoes and Warby Parker appeal to
this group because they offer social value and align their brands with a higher
purpose. These brands also invite participation and co-creation, both of which
appeal to Millennials. I am Millennial and it really does relate to me, all
of it. I am very tech proficient. The only television that I watch is online
which is Netflix. It's so much easier. I have it on my laptop and on my phone
and on my Apple Tv. We millennials like things easy as it is with technology
now a day. We love buying online, but we still overthink it since we don't like
wasting money on stuff that is not worth it. But
most of the time we waste our money in things we don’t really need. We are lazy
and big procrastinators.
Week 3 EOC - Making Money for Good
Johnson & Johnson is a company that gives for profit.
They help four different things. They do the "Saving and Improving the
lives of Women and Children", Preventing Disease in Vulnerable
Situations", "Strengthening the Health Care Workforce" and they
have Community Programs in New Jersey. They take care of people worldwide like
North America, Latin America, Africa, Europe & Middle East and Asia
Pacific. Johnson & Johnson donates $2 for every $1 an employee donates to
eligible nonprofits. In 2015 they donated $157.1 Million. They keep growing as
a company since they are doing this kind of profit. It benefits them for their
taxes but still they are doing something beneficial for everyone which is what
every big company should do. They care about others as much as we care for our
babies and that’s why we shop their products to take care of our babies because
their products are all natural and not harmful for the babies. They have cared
about the women since they have products for babies they thought it would be
good to help moms around the world. They also help strengthening the welfare
program so the mothers would find jobs faster to be able to provide their
babies with everything that could possibly need. By having so many corporations
worldwide it benefits them even more.
Week 2 EOC: Boston Consulting Group - Video Games
Videogames have been going down in business because of
technology nowadays. We have everything on our phones, television, we don’t
really need anything else since our smartphones have the same games, maybe not
in the full versions, but it’s satisfying. And it is also way better for our
parents since they don’t have to spend extra money on games, or consoles. Which
is a big benefit for them since xbox, playstation’s, wii, nintendo’s and specially
all the games we would want are all up there. The games are $40 and higher. The
consoles are $400 and up. The turnabout is rippling out to companies such as online retailer Amazon.com Inc. Last week, Amazon blamed weak quarterly results from its media business on a decline in videogame sales. Nowadays we have ipads and tablets which we can take
anywhere we want, just put in a bag or purse and keep walking. The millennials
are very tech-savvy and also like things to be easy. If we were to spend a
night at a friends and would like to take our xbox or playstation it would be
more trouble, since it’ll be disconnecting the console, bringing the remotes,
the games you want to play and all the cables. While the videogame industry had hopes of posting double-digit revenue growth this year, analysts now predict flat to 5% growth from $11 billion in 2008. Then connecting them again when
you get there and disconnect it again when you leave and connect it again when
you get back to your house. With a tablet and/or ipad, you just need the
charger and that’s it.

Week 1 EOC - My Voice
My name is Karina Gonzalez, I am a Fashion Stylist who is
inspired by bringing the sexiness out of every person, make them feel
comfortable with who they are and what they have to offer. I like to style
every person depending on their body type and style. Sometimes their budget is
a struggle but there’s always something they can get with their budget. And
that is my goal, make them happy with what they bought and not feel limited
with it, own it and love it. I love when customers tell me that they haven’t
worked with someone so patient and understanding and just thank me for
everything. I love when customers leave with a big smile on their face because
they found more than expected. I am the kind of sales associate that doesn’t
look to sell the highest priced items, but what would look good in them and
what I think they would totally love.
Week 1 EOC - Great Customer Service
I’ve had great customer service in Victoria’s Secret. They
have amazing return policies and they just want to help you in every way
possible. I applied for their Credit Card and they’re always on top of you in a
good way, they send me $20 Gift Cards all the time, they send me deals and plus
by using the Credit Card I accumulate points and every time I reach certain
amount of points they send me more gift cards and I’ve upgraded to the black
card in less than 5 months which is great. I keep building up my credit and get
rewarded for it as well. They have great perks by signing up and using their
Credit Card. I use it pretty often. Their quality is amazing, underwear is very
comfortable and they all styles possible for those that have preferences. Their
bras are a big variety as well. Lined, unlined, padded, not padded, etc. They also
have the service where you can order something in store if they don’t your size
and they throw in the free shipping. You can order online but you’ll have to
pay for shipping, unless you have the black card like me, shipping is free. They
also have the option of if you’re buying for someone else as a gift, it asks
you if it’s a gift and then you pick out a box and the wrapping which is pretty
amazing that they actually have that option. I have never seen that option in buying
online. They make it very pleasing for the customer, very easy. They just want
the customer to have a lifetime experience that’ll make them come back and shop
more.
